However with black bears and crocs can only be fought off by nose and snout hitting or eye gouging which would cause it to run away and stop the attack. bears and crocs and other dangerous animals like it can only be killed however with a weapon. It is however not advised however that bare hands should be used in fighting a wild animal even big cats as there is much greater potential for screw ups and you losing your appendages in the process. However if you are empty handed the only chance you have is to stick your arm down the tiger's throat. (Secret high level master tip!)
