My Friends -
You can't use anything Tom Bleecker says in his "bio" about Bruce Lee as truth. When he was divorced from Bruce Lee's widow, Linda Lee (now Cadwell), things went south for him quickly; SO, he writes a book of nonsense. How do I know? I was friends with Bruce during that time and up until his death. While he could be tempermental and testy at times andwhile he DID tell Steve that he (Bruce) was going to be the biggest star in the world one day; The Silent Flute was discarded because of (sadly) racism in Hollywood at that time. No-one wanted to spend millions in a film that had a real Chinese man in one of the leads. So in Bruce's own words:
"I went back to Hong Kong to make it big there, then come back to Hollywood from the side door, not thefront, but certainly not the back." And he did become the biggest star in the world after Warner's "Enter The Dragon," albiet in death. This fact brought a smile to both Steve McQueen and James Coburn's faces. They loved Bruce, were his students and two of his pallbearers at his funeral.
Peace...

Yeah i bought the DVD ect last year. Just finished reading the script on the DVD ROM feature. Suprisingly, it was more similar to the movie than i would of thought.

The fighting in the actually movie that was made was pretty bad. Mainly just Karate moves similar to Carradine in Kung Fu. Still, read between the lines with Bruce Lee's philosophical mind and the movie is actually pretty cool.
The movie aint about the moves as such, but the " fight within".
